Evaporates residual liquid refrigerant from the refrigerant oil and protects the compressor against liquid hammering.
We recommend to use a WITT DWR heat exchanger to protect compressors, because returned refrigerant oil from the BDP may contain residual liquid refrigerant.
By simply integrating the DWR into the pressure gas line from the compressor, hot gas is lead through the inner pipe and evaporates liquid refrigerant contained in refrigerant oil situated in the outside pipe.
The DWR heat exchanger range includes diameters from DN50 to DN125, and it is available from WITT’s stock at pressure level PN25 and PN40 for the DWR80.
